Cable's August Celebrations!

On August 25th, Cable turned one year old.  What a milestone!

Amanda bought her a birthday biscuit to celebrate and Galaxy and Kira came to Ruffsport to celebrate with Cable, Heather and Anna Marie.

We hope you will enjoy these photos and videos of Cable's birthday and her continued learning process.

Don't forget to share our pages with all dog lovers in celebration of #InternationalDogDay and Cable's birthday this week!  Cable's funding runs out at the end of October, 2021, but she has a long time to go in her training.  Anyone wishing to help support Cable's puppy--> dog--> service dog training is invited to donate in honour of her first birthday:

Cable and the fly

Please enjoy this video of Cable learning to “ignore” most distractions put in her path.  Great preparation for training her to keep her focus on Amanda in order to be ready to tune in to any signals that Amanda needs help.  OK, the fly did disrupt her focus temporarily, but Cable is still young… not even a year old.
